None of the lulling cadence of Robert's Rules of Order.
Just a little consent agenda item. Buried deep beneath requests for payment and contract bids.
No objections. By unanimous decision; no yeas or nays called for. My request for leave of absence for the 2011-2012 school year was approved by the school board.
"Moving on to agenda item 6.01- board policy revisions...."
Really. That was it.
I cried a bit in the parking lot... then went and got ice cream.
Ms. Jarr (this is Bailey FYI), I like this part. It really makes me want to cry how little they cared about a teacher like you. Enjoy teaching in China and best wishes for all to come!:)
